I was getting roughly 40 political adds per day that would interrupt my days and nights. These politicians thought that my phone was their personal ATM machine always asking for money. Now these text go right to a junk folder without a notification. Every couple of days, I simply delete all items in the junk folder. I was hoping to get my Apple Watch back, but the political messages come through tagged as ‘Maybe Junk’. I wish these could be blocked from my watch. Maybe a future enhancement?
I truly do not understand why it’s so hard for somebody to create an app that actually keeps the text from actually coming through to your phone. I was hoping this app was it from the way it was described, but it isn’t. It simply sorts texts with your keywords into the junk or unknown senders box – not only like every other app, but like Apple does already by itself. I don’t want that. I don’t want to have to delete them even from a junk mailbox. I don’t want to have to “delete and report junk” because I have to do it 20 or 30 or 40 times a day. It’s distracting to me even when it goes into the junk box. I don’t want that stuff to ever come through. I want it to be diverted into oblivion. So that I never even see it. No clue why this is so hard or why no one will do it. If I don’t want to see a text with candidate and election keywords I shouldn’t have to see it. Ridiculous. I would’ve been happy to pay for this app if it had done what I wanted to do.
Anyone coming from th days of jailbreaking will know the app iblacklist well this is the same app the ways it handles text spam I don't know if blocks calls to but if not they should definitely add that to this app to give it that top level security. I can tell you this app works the way it should for sure. I don't know what the deal is but when I downloaded it I did get allot of spam text with politics in them but they all got blocked and straight to the junk box. I'm wanting the call blocker feature please.
