This app does not time to the 20M Euro 21 stage standard used for athletic benchmarking. Compared to the standard, completing level 10 on this app is 90 shuttles, or 4 shuttles short (drops a segment on levels 4,6,8, and 9) and about 30 seconds shorter than the actual standard, which is widely published and should complete level 10 with 94 shuttles and a time of 10:32. This is 80M shorter and 30 seconds shorter than standard at level 10 and it gets worse with more dropped segments. This makes this app a “cheater” app, so that very good athletes can show a score output higher than the standard test. Example a 11.2 on this app would be very close to a 10.9 on the actual 20 min beep test standard. Find an app that publishes the data tables or just run your preferred app to ensure stage 10 completes at 94 shuttles and 10:32 to know it is using the true standard parameters.

We have been using the bleep test for the last two years! This is a easy way to test a high school physical education class. We divide our classes into groups of 35 or more. We can test students of all levels of cardio fitness at the same time. We test once a week and record the scores. We can post the scores so students can see their progress. I liked I like that we can utilize our gymnasiums sound system to administer the test! I think it would be awesome to compare our scores to other high schools throughout the country.
