BLEASS Shimmer

I wanted an iPad version (IOS) to bring a thick and wide “granular-like” feel to my IOS pads. Wow! Exactly what I expected from a Shimmer Reverb, and I have heard some very ineffective shimmer reverbs (most of them, actually), but this one is the best I have heard. It makes me feel like I am running through my laptop rig with Valhalla! Nice!

Among all the shimmer apps, I’m not claiming that it’s the better of them all, but the truth is , this is the most elegant and sonically most beautiful sounding shimmer among of them all. Don’t believe me? Just try this on your guitar,or the favourite synth of yours. Use the presets, it’s absolutely fine, with a few turn of the knobs it’ll take your instrument to a far distance galaxy. I’m not going to dive into details as most the people just read the title, as I’ve experienced, but this is not just a shimmer, this is The BLEASS Shimmer! Period.

I had assumed that this app worked through Audiobus or Inter-App Audio and that a window with the controls could be opened up over my GB projects through one of these avenues. In reality, you need to add BLEASS Shimmer under Plugins and EQ like you would any of the stock GB effects. I wish there was a one-page tutorial the first time you open the app that explained this, as there are now several ways to use different apps with GB. It’s confusing these days.
