bitFlyer Crypto Exchange

I made a review of this app a few months back suggesting a few changes in their UI, after the most recent update, I have to say you got it! The app has not disappointed and I’m happy to see an improvement in the experience I have with it. Coins are easier to track, I can hide my holdings in case someone around me wants to peep in, and the overall feeling of it is much better. Great improvement!

I’ve uploaded all my relevant identification documents multiple times - drivers license, resident card - and bitFlyer continues to deny me access to buy/sell without any explanation as to why. My address and all my personal information match my IDs, so no reason to reject. Furthermore, I’ve been asked to withdraw all my funds as account will be closed, however, I’m still being assessed a transaction fee (should be waived in my opinion). The fee makes it impossible to withdraw as it’s below the limit. If I’m being forced to withdraw out my balance, however small it is, I should be allowed to withdraw without restrictions. The platform and app are not user/gaijin friendly and the support/customer service is of the poorest quality I’ve ever experienced in Japan. They can keep the measly ¥4000. I will make sure to tell anyone who ask to avoid BitFlyer at all cost. There are plenty of better services out there.

I’ve been using bitFlyer for some time. They focus on offering the things that investors really need: Access to the large coins (bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin etc), free and instant bank transfers via ACH, a user friendly interface, and robust security. Their trading fees are pretty solid compred to other exchanges as well. It took me a while to find a legit exchange with so many scams out there. They’re licensed almost everywhere in the US including new york, so that was a good sign. No major complaints so far. Looking forward to more features
