Bible Widget

This app is exactly what I was looking for. A daily bible verse, that you can then click into and read the entire chapter or dig deeper into the meaning. I use this as a daily devotional and like that the verse displays on my Home Screen - a nice reminder and motivation throughout the day. Even when there was a small bug, their support team reached out right away, communicated they were making an update AND they followed up consistently to ensure my app was working and I was happy. I’ve never seen that kind of support before - thank you! 🙏

The content is good for sure, but I clicked on the trial for seven days and indicated that I wanted to be notified before the subscription for the year would start as the app asked if I wanted to. I thought they would at least do what other apps who indicate that question would do in alerting me through notifications. The app notifies me three times a day about new Bible verses and such but somehow someway sarcasm intended, they didn't notify me about the subscription. Then they banked me for the full year. So yes, I like the content, but I would've assumed that they would at least do what they said and indicated like they do with everything else whether I wanted to renew or not. That's called being truthful. I will never renew again. there are other apps out there that offer the same or similar and it's unfortunate that they have deceptive business practices to retain customers.

Not 30 seconds after downloading the app I added the widget to my lock screen. They make it very user friendly and sometimes when you are having a rough day seeing the quotes can really lift you back on your feet
