Bible Widgets: Verses & Prayer

My dissatisfaction comes from two main issues. The first, as I was using the app I didn’t like how some of the Bible quotes were not biblical at all, they were just quotes. It became clear quickly how useless for me, the app was. The second part to the problem is - as life tends to get busy around the holiday times and I’m trying to support a family member who’s fallen on hard times; I - your everyday human being -forgot to cancel the trial subscription. Now I’m in an endless queue of being charged for something I do not want. This is preventing me from doing a lot of things with my apple account as you can imagine. All in all, $35 is ridiculous for what this app offers you. The Haven app, is definitely my go to which is well worth that price point. Please use better discernment than I have.

I was really excited about this app and thought that I was purchasing it for a month to month price of $4.99. I wake up this morning to the entire year amount taken out of my account. I was not expecting it. I’m very disappointed. As a single mom, I didn’t purposely hit for it to be taken for a year. I hit the monthly option that’s to my understanding. I can’t even figure out how to get the widget onto my home screen. The main reason why I downloaded the app it’s not allowing me to do so when I go to do it kicks me off and closes the app. So basically I’m paying just to scroll. I am devastated with the fact that they took out the entire year and it caused me to be short for the week. Very disappointed will not be purchasing again. They already got me for the entire year..

Highly recommend. I’ve spent a rough two decades with the last 10 being the hardest. I so wish I had this available through the roughest patches, but it surely helps now on my road to recovering from trauma. I only occasionally get annoyed by reminders (but I’m the one who set the amount! lol), but I’ve not broke my daily streak of using it and I’m on week two. Get this. I’m using the free version but planning on getting the paid version. This is a blessing.
