BeFrugal Cash Back & Coupons

The app is okay, I don't like how it keeps you on their app instead of taking you to a web page like retail me not or coupon cabin does. I made a purchase via Macy's and my order is nowhere to be found. The order came but it's not under my order history on my Macy's account, like it would be with RMN or CC. Therefore I didn't earn my Macy's stat money and the shirt I ordered I can't return for a different size because I don't have an order number to give them. Befrugal said the order number is on their app under my cash back but only gives me a click id and no order number. Very very frustrating and not happy that I would've earned $20 in Macy's star money and didn't bc it didn't record my order. If it's a huge difference then I may use befrugal but if it's minimal the I'm using RMN or CC. Just my experience and opinion. I will say after reading other reviews I hope I actually get paid, understanding that a return or exchanged item from an order will cancel that cash back. I DO LOVE THAT I GRT REFERRALS BC IM ALWAYS HAVING PEOPLE SIGN UP FOR THINGS I BELIEVE IN AND LIKE! I'll update my review to let you know if I get my money and how easy and long it takes!

I used the Ebates/Rakuten application for years when shopping. It only paid out quarterly which is not soon enough. Lately, it only offers low cash back for many of the sites I shop on. Then, I found the BeFrugal app over a year ago and I prefer it when shopping as it usually pays more. BeFrugal often gives back a higher amount than Rakuten and you get your money back a lot faster. Once the purchases are verified, the money is available to cash out sometimes within 15 days. I often get a direct deposit to my checking account once a month and sometimes twice a month!

I am a new user since August. I made purchases that have all been verified that meet the $10 cashback requirement for the new customer bonus. The first purchase was verified and moved to payable very quickly. All other purchases are still sitting in pending/not payable and it has been over 3 months now since they were made and verified. They even had dates associated to them that suggested they would become payable 3 months out. Well that time passed and still not payable. Mind you at least two of those purchases were from the same store that the first purchase was from that had quick turnaround. When I sent a query to customer service I received a somewhat curt response about how it could take anywhere from 90 to 120 days and if they don’t get paid, I don’t get paid end of story no offer to investigate. When I asked about the dates associated with them suggesting when they would be payable I was told oh that’s just a possible date. My gut says these purchases won’t ever become payable and that they don’t seem to care enough to contact their sponsors. There are other services like these that do payout as advertised and yes you have to wait 3 months, but they do payout at the date they say and they go to bat for you when the sponser isn’t completing the payout.
