Battlestation Groovebox

Read the manual, it’s more of a quick start type read. It opens up a lot of little nuances you will be thankful for. Multi outs in Cubase, effects on separate channels. Using automation on the knobs in Battlestation, just out of this world. Using Battlestations mixer and Cubases mixer at the same time. Just total chaos and fun. It’s complete as is, but I really hope they expand on this by adding new stuff in the future.

I hesitated getting this because I already have the groove box BAM that I also love ❤️ though, I’m not really a groovy tunes sort of user for the most part and rarely use it… however, this is significantly different… very well designed, so that someone like myself can easily get something going with still loads of possibilities to experiment endlessly. Brilliant! I’m also always amazed with how Brambos can fit so much functionality and visually appealing GUI into only 7.9MBs… and still also be completely universal, including macOS. Wow! 🤩 Highly recommended:)

Offers exactly what it says on the tin. The UI is incredibly well thought out and I found myself really enjoying tweaking the sounds I was getting right away. Reminds me of the early soft synth days, especially Rebirth. Perfect layout for an iPad. Need to see if there’s any MIDI options, but honestly don’t mind if it’s just all kept in the app. This app is all about having fun while making music and it offers it in spades.
