Why pay extra for smart batteries and a hub when the software doesn’t work?

Recently bought new motorhome with twin battle born battery setup. As for the system usage and operation has, so far, worked with no issues. Can’t say the same for App. At first after downloading the app it connected to the system and worked great. Then closed app and on the next time when trying to use the app it would not reconnect to the system. Contacted battle born personal and they did answer me in short order. They stated that they are releasing updated app after Thanksgiving that should fix this. So I down loaded the updated version and as before the app would connect to the system and work great giving me the data needed. Then when I closed the app an on the next time the app will not connect to the system. No mater what I do and holding my phone next to the sending unit. If this app is any indication of the battle born battery system then I may need to swap out to a more robust system that actually works!!!

I have a new RV with a Battle Born hub and two Battle Born Lithium batteries. When this app WAS working, it was extremely helpful in monitoring the charge remaining on each of the two batteries. But then I made the fatal mistake of letting the app update the hub and battery firmware. Now it no longer can connect to the hub or the batteries at all. I’ve tried everything - deleting the configuration and reconfiguring it (the hub is recognized via Bluetooth by the app, but cannot connect to it in the first configuration step), deleting and reinstalling the app - even contacting their support (no response whatsoever). Now this app is useless and I am having to guess how much charge I have remaining. VERY FRUSTRATING.
