To me, I really want to work and contribute as much as I can to the world and society. I feel sad and disappointed with myself if I can’t be productive. Bacon helps me to be productive and learn new things, new skills, new environments, and new cultures. Sometimes, the new cultures and new languages can be misunderstandings and frustrating but overall, bacon supporting team usually try to help us. About me: ======= Warehouse Associate - Server – Cashier – Host – Shift Lead – Sale Manager ======= == Adaptable to old and new responsibilities == I am a talented student and a hard-working person. I used to work under BYU for some engineering projects. However, due to some political issues, my work project with BYU was cancelled by our sponsor Raytheon. Then I am enrolling for BYU Pathways Online and switching to cashier/salesman/businessman. At the beginning, I worked for various restaurant companies such as L&L Hawaiian BBQ, Arby’s, Costa Vida, Little Caesars, Denny’s as server, line cook, host and cashier. Later on, I was a parts sale manager at AutoZone then became a lead shift who assisted the store manager with all the sales and management tasks. However, life has recently some twists and turns which makes me back to cashier position again. I am sincere, hardworking, good at trouble solving, customer service, computer skills and cash handling. I would love to be a part of the company and the team. ====================== === Skills === • E Cashiering. • Retail. • Cash Handling. • Customer Service. === Work Experience === • Shift Lead – Sale Manager AutoZone • Host – Cashier Denny’s L&L Hawaiian BBQ • Pizza Cook – Chef Little Caesars • Line Cook Arby’s Costa Vida • Server Noodle King.
As an “Elite” level worker it’s been frustrating using the Bacon app. Ever since December 2022 the app hasn’t been showing the available jobs. And when a job shows up it’s taken immediately. I go to apply and keep getting “application limit reached” or “not accepting applications”. The app lately has only been showing one or two jobs for a specific date. They’re already taken and no other alternatives. The people at “Bacon” keep apologizing for things, saying their constantly bringing new clients/ jobs on board. Yet nothing is showing. Am I not supposed to be getting notified or invited first to jobs?? I delete and reinstall and still same issues. Or else I’ll apply and get a job. Only for it to be deleted or cancelled, and then once I got notified to confirm if I was attending that job, even though it got cancelled.
I’m currently suspended, should lift as of today(1/3/21). I got a low score and to many withdrawals. And that’s where my issues lie. The company doesn’t get notifications that I’m withdrawing. I even texted the number to the supervisor the night I had to withdraw late. No response. I’m assuming that if you’re using this app, you have a full time job and like the money for fun or to give yourself a little walking around cash. I got a low score due to leaving after 6 hours because of a Emercancy and I was “on my phone to much”. A night shift making signs with a skeleton crew and the amount of signs I banded will say otherwise but whatever. Poor company anyways. So not that I care about the low score, but there isn’t any place where you can dispute anything. Which can cause you do be suspended for something that most people and companies don’t care about who pay less then 10 bucks an hour. ( I probably sound entitled but whatever. I’m being honest in my review. Which is why you’re reading this) if you can find a job where you’re at. They are going to be companies with high turn over rates. For whatever that may be. Bacon really needs to go back to the drawing board and fix not only company policies, but fix all the broken bugs and glitches within the app. So I’m giving them a 1 star. Because they haven’t fixed anything from the past reviews I’ve seen. Like the job experience. Can’t scroll.
