Axolotl Pet

I really do enjoy this game. It’s a super nice pet management game similar to tomagachi which I really appreciate. I would give this game 5 stars but there’s one thing that’s always kinda bugged me about this game. Well actually two things. The first being the ads after I clean my pets tank. I understand this game is free and they have to make money somehow but it’s pretty irritating how right after cleaning the tank, almost every time without fail I get an ad shoved in my face which takes away from the calmness this game brings me since it’s usually loud or obnoxious. Again, not the dev’s fault since they have no control over what games ads are played but still not a good place to have them. Another complaint I have is the lack of reminders sometimes. This game is very good at notifying you when your pet needs something but almost 3 times now my pet has passed away because the game didn’t let me know they were hungry. It made me feel sad at the time because this game gets you attached to your virtual pet and it also makes you feel a bit guilty. I just wish the notifications were a bit finer tuned. Other than those two things, this game is incredible. It really calms me and my gf down and it’s a sort of bonding activity between the two of us. It’s also helping me keep in track with some of my daily tasks too. As a person with diagnosed ADHD, I sometimes forget to do simple things and this game helps me remember to do them. Absolutely recommend this game if you want a virtual pet to take care of

This has been one of my favorite games lately. I personally am an axolotl lover, and was so happy when I stumbled upon this app. Almost no ads, which is great, and it’s really easy to take care of our pets. It’s been 12 days since I first got Ramen, my axolotl, and I did almost forget to feed her…(thank you notifications! Y’all saved Ramen’s life). But I do think you should be allowed to have more than one axolotl and you should be able to breed them too, I think that would be so much fun. Also, the tank is pretty boring(no offense) so i think we should be able to change it, and personalize it. Another thing is the colors. I’d really like to see more variety- like just 3 colors isn’t really enough to have that much fun… also maybe like an in-game currency, which we could gain by feeding our axolotl or growing it to a certain size, etc., that we could then spend on like little clothes to just add some more cuteness. (Or something else, I’m not that picky on what we could spend in-game currency on) Over-all I think this is a really great game for those people that don’t have that much time or just want something to take care of. I've had my Mid (my axolotl) for 19 days now. When I first discovered this app, all I read was good reviews and heard many promising things. I decided to get it. I'm slightly disappointed by how few axolotl types there are to choose from. I would love to see a few more. The gameplay can get a little boring, because there isn't much to do. The "Show/Give affection" tool is confusing, I can't figure out how it works. I would like to see more things to do with your axolotl, such as playing with them with your finger, etc. I would also like to see a tool/activity to decorate your axolotl's tank, to personalize it and make it your own. Last suggestion, I would like to see a feature where you can have more than one axolotl, and possibly breed them. Other than that, the app is very fun, and I enjoy it quite a bit. You rarely see ads, I get them just after I clean my axolotl's tank. Other than that, no ads at all. I was surprised by this. (In a good way.) You don't have to do much at all. It doesn't take much time to do anything, which is very helpful if your a busy person. I definitely recommend this app to anyone for any reason.
