Art Raffle

This is a great app! Really well thought out and executed. Eni and Alan have outdone themselves. Brilliant when you can’t decide what to tangle next, or are just looking for an idea or two. Art Raffle can decide for you, but you’re always free to reject one or all the suggestions. I like to challenge myself and let it decide, even if it’s a tangle I don’t like, or feel I’m no good at. And then sometimes I reject repeatedly until each one just feels right! The step-outs are so convenient, and I particularly love the links to examples of each one. Perfect to get those creative juices flowing! By the way, if you’re wondering if her classes are worth it, don’t hesitate. I’ve learned SO much from Eni’s techniques, guidance, suggestions. She’s an encouraging, detailed teacher who clearly loves what she does. Thank you, Eni, for teaching me so much. Always excited to see what comes next!

I am new to zentangling and have found it overwhelming to visit websites and blogs that have so much information, I couldn’t even figure where to begin. Eventually one artist stood out above the rest — Eni Oken. When I discovered her new App, I was excited to have a format that suited my needs as a beginner. It takes a great deal of the confusion out of choosing what to use and when to use it. The random strategy of the picks is brilliant. The added step-outs, explanations and samples are just a graceful way to move into ur own creation — and who doesn’t want to feel like an artist right away? The time and effort to put all those samples together clearly shows the effort devoted to making this app a great learning tool. Honestly, I get lost in all the samples. It’s very stimulating just to see what’s possible. I have taught workshops on needlework for the past 20 Years and I know what it takes to prepare materials that truly help the student. The Eni and Alan team have done a stupendous job in this respect. It’s exceptional to see how simple it can be to play and learn — something that can only be accomplished when u truly know, understand and feel ur craft from the heart. Kudos to their mastery!! i look forward to using it on a regular basis

This app makes drawing Tangles, understanding how to utilize tangle enhancers, color, shading and lots of extras super easy. It allows you to randomize options and to pick and choose. You can save your favorites. Plus you can save sets of choices for the future! Gives an incredible amount of inspiration as you might not choose some of the options shown! A super plus for me.... And to top it all off IT IS COMPLETELY FREE!! What more could you want? The design has been carefully thought out and is art fully designed and I love that it takes my drawing practice to a portable level as we do travel and this will eliminate a good deal of “stuff” that I usually bring. If I could give this app 100 stars it couldn’t deserve it more! Take a chance, learn something new and enter the world os Zentangle.
