I downloaded the lite and enjoyed it. So I payed the $3.99 for the full version for the toddler I nanny. I expected quite a lot more animals than just 15. Some don’t even have the accurate animal noises. However, for $4 I feel like there should be more app. There is also no way to get your money back through the apple App Store. I’m very disappointed. I’m rating 2 stars because the toddler doesn’t seem to mind.
We love this game very much. But we can’t use it due to one simple fact. If the child touches the edge of the screen the game stops and child can access phone/tablet. This means that every 3 seconds I have to take my phone and put the game back on from the home screen, open tabs, pull down menus on iphones ect . That gets old fast and has led to me erasing this game several time out of sheer fustration. It would be amazing if this game could be like some other baby/toddler games that require a double tap or to touch particular areas of the screen to leave the game.
My son has been playing with this app since he was six months old. He LOVES it. The update, wherein kids can touch the animal name or animal to hear the name or sound again, is great. But the update also made one very bad change: Now the screen will switch to the next animal with any touch to the sky -- even when that animal screen hasn't finished making a sound and saying the name. This is a huge problem with kiddo apps since toddlers don't always know to wait to touch the screen. Prior versions of this app wouldn't switch screens until that actions of that screen were complete, which was great. It's much harder for us to use now.
