Top Drives - Car Race Battles

This is a fun, addicting and extremely detailed game. It has every single car there has ever been from all over the world. You don't actually drive the cars you pick 5 of your cars that you get from picking cards and you put them up against the computers 5 cars. Things like drive type, tire type, vehicle height, and weight matter along with weather. It's a lot of fun!

Only watch ads you want to. The gameplay is different from anything I've played before, but it's pretty fun. Only reasons it's not 1 star. Used to be 4. But recently all the developers are about is money. They've begun to completely ignore the gameplay, continuity, features, and anything not directly related to making more money. So now it's trash. Can't win any high tier cars without spending thousands of dollars. Or starting the game 2+ years ago and playing religiously.

This is a unique car collecting game. you gather cards of different vehicles and race them in a series of 5 races. There are different track types that different cars are good on to provide a wide array of stats. If you want to learn more about different types of cars, from other countries, and from all years of history, this game has a wide collection to look at, upgrade and race with. Some cars I've never heard of! The animations are fun, it's like Slot Cars on my phone.

Everything is good down to events and campaign levels. 1) Events (at least the big ones) are controlled by who ever spends the most money. i agree if you spend $50 you should have an edge, but why can’t we get more than 1 common pack to start😂. you basically have to spend money unless you are stacking gold. 2) Campaign levels are great and even replaying them getting the loot out of them is enjoyable. they should either reset with different cars to earn, reset and be harder levels, or have a new set of 10 locations in different cities. i only have 2 cities left to get loot out of and my playtime on this game will likely go down with how the next campaign goes. getting that currency is grueling when you don’t have good event lineups. Anything other than those are opinions like i think garage inventory should be infinite and cash should easier to come around. my cars are getting fused cause of extra cars but cannot upgrade very fast. once upgrades slow down i cannot fuse with extra cars and progress is much slower.

The game itself is exactly as advertised. You can race to win more cars, open packs, upgrade cars, etc. It was fantastic when this is how the game worked. Now, you’re *REQUIRED* to spend either ample amounts of time or small amounts of money just to win one event. Before, I’d get on the game, check the current events, get in my 5 races for that event and get offline. Well, if you do that now, you will stay in the lowest rank, which will also decrease your rep by 10 per event. My tickets do not refresh for over an hour, so I can’t continuously grind out my races to make it to one of the top spots. I could go 15-0, have more points than anyone else, and I will still be ranked 50th because I didn’t run *THIRTY* races in 24-48h. The expectations are quite high if you want anything decent in the game and it will take you much longer than before. I have played for a few years now and I only have 4 or 5 S class cars, so getting the exact one you want is almost guaranteed to never happen. And again, it will take even longer than those few years to get the exact same results. I have spent a little bit of money on the game as well but never anything above $20. I would say this last update pushed the game from almost P2W to fully P2W. No one has the time for 30 races in a day to get first place.

The new update has only seemed to have brought 1 or 2 good things here and there, yet everything else has been bad. First of all, they switched a ton of the cars that were decent from the green and blue ranks up to yellows and reds. Not only do you lose all the work and upgrades you put into your cars that move up a rank, the tens and thousands of dollars (game dollars) of work, the hours and hours of playing, and take it away, not even changing anything but a few cars stats ( there weren’t even that many cars that actually had a stat change), but the only compensation they give you is just some measly upgrades for the mediocre cars that are left in the previous rank. For example, I had an off road rally car, previously yellow rank, and moved up to red. Literally one point up, from 49 to 50. Nothing was changed about the stats of the car, just moved up one single point. Not only did all the work I’ve put into that car get taken away by making it stock once more, but all they give me is upgrades for the yellow cars, even though the only few I care about already have been maxed out. I would’ve loved if I could’ve had a warning to this, so I could actually prepare for top drives to take all my stuff, and I wouldn’t spend all my in game cash right before they take it away. The least they could’ve done is keep the upgrades on the cars that moved up ranks. Especially the ones that weren’t even changed stat-wise
