F1 Clash - Official 2025 Game

This game has moments of being fun, BUT OMG its so unbalanced. The AI driving will make you insane! Ive watched my car in 3rd place leave pitlane and stop to let the entire field go by, then rejoin in last. Ive watched my drivers turn left in a right hand turn, drive through the grass and lose 6 places for no reason. OR just hit the brakes and come to a dead stop in the middle of turn. The AI needs lots of work…LOTS of work! Winning is arbitrary, because other than changing tires, you play no role in how your team performs. ALSO, it does NOT matter what driver you have or what upgrades you install, the game matches you with someone who has the same stuff…so whats the point. Also the cost of upgrades is on a vertical curve. $20k for level 1…$350k for level 2… and since we can be sure to always have 10 loses to 1 win, unless i spend real money, i cant upgrade. This game has great potential, but is far from ready. Teach the AI to drive. A driver doesnt make it to F1 with the skills of a weekend rental kart driver. Fix the match balance. Qualy is a joke. And make driver performance predictable, because otherwise its meaningless. (My driver will stay top 5 in one race then live in 24th for the next 5 races)

Overall the game play and concept is all good. Graphics are good but it lacks consistency when it comes to performance. Lacks consistency on matching up players with similar skill. Most of the time in my experience I get matched up vs people with way higher grades than me so makes it almost impossible to win. Maybe the matching system needs to be tweaked. I lowered my rating to 1 star. It’s a joke how inconsistent it is. I wrote my review and then decided to give the game another chance but more of the same stupidity of matchup and in race issues. I am on boost and take a turn and get passed by 3 cars lol. Doesn’t seem like the drivers ratings do anything when it comes to racing. My highest “consistency” drivers seem to have the least consistent race, taking turns way wide or letting 3 people pass me because I slowed down and took the outside of a turn. Seems like the driver did that just to let 3 cars behind me pass. Also when a car breaks down why not have the car get affected and slow down so it forces people to go into pits. You can literally drive laps of a broken car with no effect. Last thing is this game really does want you to purchase packs and things and you can only be competitive if you do. If you don’t you will be stuck with lower parts and drivers as the upgrades on parts and cars are ridiculously high. So if you want to play this game competitively be ready to spend money. I’ve been playing this game since it came out as F1 Manager. It use to be a fun and fair game that you could spend $2 here, $20 there. Its been my number 1 go to game for many years now. Over the years, the developers listened to it’s clients and improved the game as they hoped to make it a better experience for all. But I noticed that it began to favor paying players, which is ok, it’s a business for profit. I bought upgrades every once in a while. I love the game and it’s fair to pay for it. Unfortunately this last season it became impossible to play without paying. So if you’re new and plan on downloading this game, you will have a lot of fun at first, but as you progress, it’s going to cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to compete. (There are players spending hundreds of dollars per week!) As a example, in a effort to combat “sandbagging”, the developers redesigned matchmaking, But it became so unfair that unless you dump lots of $$ into to your team, you’ll never win! You’ll be racing at back of the pack and your opponent will comfortably run in the top 10. And often your opponent is a BOT! I’ve spend over $100 since the new season came out a few weeks ago. I’ve been on discord and learned how setup my team for different tracks, I’ve contact support, I’ve shout out to the community. The response is, $$$. With difficulty and some luck, I did progress, some. But without paying more, I’m stuck and it’s no longer fun. I guess I’ll give it a go from time to time as updates come out. Maybe they will change things.
