Amarr Entrematic Door App

I have spent over 2 hours going through the algorithm to connect the garage door to my phone. The app doesn’t connect despite multiple attempts. This seems to be a common finding with most reviews. I will buy a secondary device in order to use the garage door remotely.

The app version 1.72 is horrible. I need to pair my opener with my iPhone app every time I open it. iPhone 8+ on latest version of iOS. As an it professional in a development company I have no idea how this release made it past QA. The garage door openers themselves work well. Just bought them and had them professionally installed. Worth the extra money? Not if they use WiFi control of doors as a selling point.

Every time my garage opens, closes, or the light goes on or off, I get literally 10 duplicate push notifications for each function that occurs. It used to only be 8 duplicate push notifications so it has gotten worse. I have an iPhone 7. The functionality of being able to remotely open or close garage is very cool and useful. I just don’t need 40 push notifications everytime someone comes home. Would like 1 for opening, 1 for light on, 1 for closing, 1 for light off. Or 1 for opening combined with light on since those events happen simultaneously. Then 1 for closing, and 1 more later for light off since there is a delay to turn the light off, for a total of 3 push notifications per complete cycle. Once that is corrected I am happy to update my review.
