AiCam AI Smart Security Camera

My only complaint with AiCam is I wish there was a live audio video when viewing a device. We often use a craft cover with our dog, and often times we rely entirely on audio cues rather than visual.

I was looking for an app to turn an unused iPad into a security camera for the peephole in my door. My landlord doesn’t allow video doorbells or any exterior cameras. I found that the iPad camera focuses quite well through the peephole. I installed the app and tried the free version for a few days and it was exactly what I was looking for. So I upgraded to unlock all of the features. I love the simplicity of the app and I also love that it works seamlessly between my iPhone. I reached out to Anh and I recommend 2 features (tap to focus and focus lock). In less than 2 weeks Anh implemented the changes and it made the app even better. I highly recommend this app. It’s a great way to re-use older products, the app is easy to use, and Anh has been great with support and feature recommendations. I look forward to continuing to use the app and recommending it to others.

I got this app recommended by a friend and I have a spare Iphone X so why not. I have 3 cats, my roommate has 1 cat and none of them play along with other. When I go to work, I need to monitor my cats to make sure they don’t pull any funny business with my roommate’s cat. This app has cat detection functionality and I found out that my roommate’s cat jumped on the common sofa and peed on it (my cat’s regular place). The only downside of this app is that I have to power the phone from an outlet and secure it with a tripod but I have those as spare so it’s not really a big deal for me
