Can’t even access app without a membership (also will ask you to give the app a 5* review before even using it and won’t let you continue until you do, though saying you will give a review and then close out seems to be a way around this cringe behavior) and on top of that once you get a membership you have to spend MORE money to actually use their services. (They give you 1000 credits but it costs between 350 up to 3,500 credits for ONE video. (For prices they charge 9.99USD for 1,000 credits, on top of the membership remember) they also will call your membership “pro” even tho that is the only option, the only difference is weekly or yearly charge. The quality of videos is nice but if you want the best quality that will cost 3,500 credits (35USD) for that one video. Overall there are better (and way cheeper) options. Also, side note don’t let the positive reviews fool you. Like most big App Store apps the reviews are flooded with bots. Hope I saved at least one person from this disgustingly greedy app.

I have been using Sora AI a few months and wanted to try another AI video generator. The sponsored ad led me to believe this app has something to do with Apple. But it doesn’t. When I clicked on the app to load it, there was a thing about trying me. I thought there would be a chance to give the app a try before purchasing. But nope, you have to subscribe. Seems like a good deal for year subscription and I fell for the bait. Found out immediately after subscribing that one has to buy credit credits to do anything. There is no support on the app. I wanted to cancel and found a link to a website in Turkey. I filled out the comment form asking for a refund. But every time I hit the send I get an error message. In other reviews for this app, the developer will say go to the in app support. But there is no support option within the app. There is no information on how to use the app.

Figured out how to use the app. It’s great once you figure it out. One feature I recommend, longer videos for more credits, also if the video is nowhere close to what we wanted, we should get half our credits back. Here’s another, if a video won’t generate, we should get our credits back and then be able to delete the one that won’t generate. I have a library full of maybe 12 or so “Generating < 1 minute” we should definitely get refunded. Or if we accidentally generate a video before the prompt is finished, there should be a 5 second window where we can stop generating and finish the prompt. Even fixing/changing one off these is fine with me. I suggest making the videos longer as the priority.
