So I heard this app is supposed to be better than Suno. After listening to some songs, I actually do think it’s better. Then I saw the voice cloning feature, so I figured, “I haven’t made any songs yet, so I should have plenty of credits.” I definitely had enough credits, but when I tried to clone my voice, it kept saying my microphone was too quiet. I checked the recording, and the audio was loud and clear. I even used voice isolation and tried the Automatic, Standard, and Wide Spectrum microphone modes. Wide Spectrum picked up too much background noise, but the others still didn’t work. The main issue is that the app kept saying it couldn’t detect a voice. I just got this phone last week, so the microphone shouldn’t be the problem. I also recorded a 13 minute sample because the app says longer, consistent recordings work better. Before leaving this review, I tried everything I could think of short recordings, long recordings, different microphone settings, and multiple attempts but nothing worked. Because of that, I’d honestly give the app a 3.5 out of 5. The music generation seems great, but the voice cloning feature just wouldn’t work for me. Currently using the free version of this app and I have to say I’m really really satisfied with the quality I was able to get with the generations and I’m satisfied with how quickly the tracks generate. My only real problem is that on the free plan, you can only make two songs and that’s it. It doesn’t reset every day or every week, it’s just two songs for free and then you have to pay $49 a year or seven dollars a week. I don’t have the money to pay for it right now, but the app is so good that if I did I 100% would pay for it. I just wish that the free plan wasn’t limited to two generations and that’s it for life. At least make it so that it resets every day or something otherwise the app is useless after one use until you pay. Other than that, the app does work as advertised and the quality you do get is worth paying for once I get the money to do so.
