The app isn’t developing fast enough to keep up with how it’s population tracks their workouts. For example I am a runner, most of my workouts are primarily running, the app doesn’t always connect to my garmin and sometimes doesn’t record my steps. I also focused on the workout and not snapping a selfie of myself while I am running. If I am going to use an app there should be an expected level of convenience when using it that this does not have. There should be an option for me to upload a dated screenshot of my workout. I beg of you to bring the app up to date with how people use their fitness devices in 2026.
I use an Apple Watch and my phone to track my steps and it usually works great the past 6 months, a little glitchy, but I just checked my progress and ActiveFit didn’t track for a whole week where my goal was hit for 4 of those days. Now I have to try and make up those days with future days.
I’ve used this app for years in conjunction with my health insurance. If I do not periodically open the app, the steps do not sync, even if my Apple health recorded the steps for that day. Not being able to retroactively sync with Apple health is asinine. There were months that I didn’t meet my steps goal while training for a marathon. Says enough.
