ACE Parking

I can purchase parking in less than 30 seconds on the Ace Parking app. Originally It took me a few minutes to figure out how to do it but now it’s super simple. A couple of times I have double booked, but with a phone call, the money is refunded to my credit card.

The app reminded me of the upcoming expiration in 15 minutes, paid the extension fee with 12 minutes to spare and came to my car to find that a notice was issued a few minutes after the original expiration. Had to submit an appeal statement online and provide photos as proof, it will take 4-6 weeks to hear back by postal mail if they recognize the error on their part. Loved the fact that I could pay easily with ApplePay and manage my parking session on the app. Unfortunately after this experience in San Jose, CA, I will not use the app or ACE unmanned parking facilities again

I use this app every time I park downtown and never have any issues. Finding and paying for parking is straightforward and requires zero effort on my part. I appreciate that I can pay ahead of time and not have to deal with using the physical machine on-site. This makes my life easier.
