37 years ago my new boss at Alaska Airlines recommended opening an account at the Credit Union. I knew nothing about credit unions. But, I needed a bank that was local, so I took a chance. A few years later, I opened a second account for use in a small business that I started. The advice and assistance from credit union staff have proven invaluable over the years. Thank you for all that you have done. I would recommend you to the newest family members from Hawaiian Airlines. They would be well served to leave the commercial banks and switch to the Alaska Air Group Credit Union.

I have been with the AAGCU for nearly 25 years. They have always given me excellent customer service and have always had much better rates than anyone else has offered. They treat their members as individuals and are willing to help if you ever have any issues with financing even if things weren’t perfect from medical problems that can cause financial issues. They will look at you as an individual and not just a number. I haven’t felt the need to have any other bank. I don’t have a branch anywhere close to me but I’ve never needed one. Everything is easily handled over the phone or online. If you ever need a physical branch there are shared branches everywhere that you can use. Even in the small town I live in.

I’ve been a loyal member of AAGCU and have been using their mobile app and services and have had an amazing experience overall. It is super easy to use their Deposit Check feature in their app, and I use it quite frequently. I am able to easily set notifications for information that I need and have had wonderful customer service experiences every time I had an issue. For as long as I have used the app, I’ve only had two issues where the app wouldn’t open late at night, but I expect it was due to maintenance. Great mobile app for the credit union and highly recommend it!
