4411 – Parking & Mobility

This is by far the worst parking app I’ve ever used. The fact that you can’t set the parking duration in advance—and instead have to manually stop the session—is a serious design flaw. It’s completely counterintuitive. If you forget to stop it after leaving, you can end up paying for an entire day of parking, which has happened to me more than once. To make things worse, the app is plagued with frequent bugs, connectivity issues, and other technical problems that make it hard to activate parking at the right time. I’ve even received fines because the app didn’t register the parking correctly. I don’t know any other parking app that works this way, and honestly, it makes the whole experience incredibly frustrating.

As an American who moved to Belgium I find this system incredibly simple, of course it would always be easier to not pay but I do understand why. I've been using this app for a year or so now and I have no recommendations to change anything.

I set up the app in case I needed it in the future. The app randomly activated a parking session while I was nowhere near the parking spot. Told support and they said too bad you have to pay anyway
