❌SCAM ALERT❌
If you have been hired as an Independent Contractor Driver and prompted to use the App, THIS IS A SCAM! The Warehouse locations are: 1215 E Washington Blvd, Montebello, CA 5215 S Boyle Ave, Vernon. The recruiter/ warehouse manager who is orchestrating the recruitment of new victims is RICCARDO ARGUETA ALVARADO. (Long hair black hair / ponytail) He also goes by the name Richard. He is aware of the criminal practices and is recruiting drivers via CRAIGSLIST GIGS. Nobody will tell you who you are working for, so you cant make any claims or file a criminal complaint against them. You will be driving for them for weeks, delivering TEMU and AMAZON packages, using your own car and paying for gasoline out of pocket. The employees are wearing “UniUni” “Amazon” “Brothers Delivery” or whatever vests that got handed to them. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!! DO NOT DRIVE FOR THEM. If you fell for this scam like I did (~$2500 owed in wages), report this to the LOS ANGELES SHERIFF Wage Theft Department and the CA LABOR COMMISSIONER. These agencies are already aware of their criminal business practices.
