Yarn Hoarder

I downloaded this app, thinking it was a way to track my yarn stash, just like it says in the title. So I added a couple skeins manually one night and went back to edit the Information the next day and it said I needed their permission to make changes. This makes no sense. If I’m tracking my own yarn why do I need their permission? Instead, it seems like it’s a way to track yarn you want to sell- which was not what I was looking for. I’m looking for an app that I can use to track my own stash - without needing permission every time I want to update details common to the yarn…

This app has helped me keep track of my yarn stash, I have had a difficult time trying to keep track of my yarn stash, this app is awesome it helps me keep track of what I have an project planning. If I could give more stars I would.

I have tried scanning in yarn from Wool Warehouse as well as Big Twist. some Craftsmart and Michael’s yarn and it didn’t find it. If I manually add it, it would be nice to have a “submit to database” for future use. Also, I will pay a one-time fee to get rid of the Ads. A feature request: provide an excel template we can fill in then import the data. This would save time being able to enter ALL my yarn at one time. I have a lot of yarn and the number of skeins I have scanned have not worked. Also, the ability to duplicate a yarn entry would help. For instance, I have a lot of the same yarn so most of the stats are the same except for the color. I wound love to help you out if testing is needed. Thank you for building the app!!!
