Yamaha Motorcycle Connect

Bought a Yamaha FZS Version 5 Hybrid mainly because of the Y-Connect features Yamaha heavily promoted. At first, the app worked somewhat fine, but now every single ride requires me to forget the Bluetooth connection and reconnect the bike again manually. It wastes time and completely ruins the experience. This honestly feels unacceptable for a feature that was used as a major selling point. Customers in Bangladesh trusted the branding and promises, but after purchase the app experience became frustrating and unreliable. Feels like the features were showcased for marketing only, without proper long-term support or optimization for local users. ACI Motors Bangladesh and Yamaha seriously need to fix the Bluetooth stability and app reliability instead of leaving customers with a broken “smart” experience.

I have not had a problem with the app since I bought my bike in January. I got a 2025 Tenere. Up to this point I’ve had no issues with the app. I went to go for a ride today and all of a sudden it keeps connecting and disconnecting. even though I forget it and re-paired it. when I go into my Bluetooth, it’s freaking out rapid fire connecting and disconnecting the Bluetooth module. I tried disconnecting the battery, disconnecting and reconnecting the Bluetooth module. Nothing has worked to keep it connected.

I’ve been using this app to connect my fz-s v4. Initially it was difficult to connect with motorcycle. After making several attempts it worked. Sometime it had connection issue with mobile and trip data wasn’t syncing, after restarting app it worked but some trip data went missing. After the last update 3.5.0 the app doesn’t start at all. After tapping the app from homepage, there is a black screen, nothing of the app is showing and app closed. I m using iPhone 13pro, software version 18.2.1
