Recommended to me by nearby Scottish Calmac staff. Extremely useful, accurate wind strength & direction (why Calmac staff depend on it) & quite accurate amount of rain. Matched with Apple weather’s rain map predictions for the next hour; & Met Office general situation, weather warnings: gives best info to plan outdoors work & play for several days ahead.

I love this app. It’s highly accurate and I trust the information given. I lived and worked in the outer Hebrides for a while and this app was recommended by a genuine fisherman to me so is trustworthy, if it’s good enough for those guys in the Atlantic with all the challenging weather it’s good enough for me. It’s even working well here in South Wales lol, warmer down here probably wetter not as windy or as challenging and boats or planes involved on a day to day basis. It’s worth 5 stars as a weather app in my humble opinion based on experience and some extreme weather conditions.

I absolutely love this app, because it concentrates on the wind aspect of the weather with is brilliant for me. Therefore why only 4 stars because a) I would gladly pay for a premium to loose the ads and have the ability to get the data on my iwatch that would be the icing on the cake !!. But having said that brilliant app ... keep up the good work. Thanks
