I used this to check 5 different types of wood for accuracy. All of them I knew what they were. The app was right once. I wouldn’t pay anything for this nor would I recommend it unless you are looking to waste money and time.
But the app errored in ID-ing several species of lumber. Was hoping this app would be better. Hopefully I can cancel subscription!!
I had 6 hardwood project panels that were all different species. Problem was they were delivered w/o any identification on them. I am testing stain results on the different species before I chose a species for my actual project. The app appeared to work great at first. I decided to double check and found that the app would never identify the species of any of the panels the same twice in a row. Canceled my subscription.
