Quick conclusion: it is very simple and easy to use and should be used by real firefighters. If you want to get a really good simulation of a fire, use this to help you. Main review: It has very simple simulation which I donโt really like, but it is very good for an app with 11 reviews and I hope it gets updated to be a bit more accurate. Please continue this app since it seems very fun. If you want me to I can sponsor this app on my 27 subscribers channel for 1ยข! I have been looking for an app like this and I finally found it so thank you for making it! This seems like the type of app real fire fighters use to not use too much water to control a fire, and especially after the Palisades, Eaton, Hueges, and the fires in Arizona, fire fighter should be using this app in the future! This may not simulate fires correctly but it will help someone simulate a fire correctly by themselves.
I too would like to email a report from the app show inputs and outputs for documentation. Also, export of the fire perimeters in kml(Google Earth) format would be a great addition. Maybe a future update could use the UCSD open source API, to run a predicted Perimeter such as those created using FARSITE modeling. Then select basic surface model (current state) or FARSITE model. UCSD map application is called WIFIRE, but appears to be California only at this time.
I really like this app. Great making modeling accessible and easy to use. Since I work for a government agency I would like it even better if I could email the results to myself for documentation. I apologize if it has that capability and I have missed it
