Whimsical House Coloring Book

I have never wrote a review before, but I felt the need to write one for whimsical house. I have had other coloring books that have teeny tiny pieces you can’t find. I never end up finishing the pictures. I got too bored and irritated and end up deleting them. But this coloring app is delightful Once you start coloring The colors are bright and vibrant. The pictures are so unique. Very few tiny pieces ,and I can’t wait to see how they turn out. They’re not the same old pictures of a dress or a room or a yard. These pictures are unique and original. Kudos to the developers

The pics are cute but I have not found a single picture yet that is like what was advertised. I loved the watercolor appearance of the adorable pics in the advertisements but the actual drawings you get to color are more along the standard variety. I am tempted to give the lowest rating because I absolutely hate, hate, hate what appears to be akin to a bait and switch (which is actually illegal in my country), but in fairness the pics are still nice and the beach theme is definitely present so I do recommend the app if you are not coming for the specific style art that I came for (and have yet to be able to find a pic that actually looks like what was advertised).

I did give 2 stars because I just downloaded and colored one picture and went through them. Although there are quite a few pics that I would enjoy coloring because they are my taste and just pretty, the ad shows colorful gnomes and I was going to tell a few of my friends that LOVE gnomes, but I went through the pics and there aren’t any. If you don’t have it to color, then don’t advertise that! Then, it was so slow holding a cell spot down to change to another color, that it was annoying. I have at least 20 coloring apps and I am going to go through and pic my favorites. This will not be one of them. I will be doing a few pics that I liked as I glanced through and then deleting it because it’s soooo sloooow to move to a cell when you want to do the color you want to do, instead of what they want you to do. I’m also guessing this is a newer app because there aren’t really that many pictures. The best one I have found so far is just call paint by number and they have so many pictures, daily’s, stories, and in the collections, you can finish a set and you get diamonds for doing that and the daily’s, where you can use diamonds to paint a picture that requires you to “purchase” it, but with diamonds. You don’t have to spend cash, and it is a lot faster. I have 526 hints just because I didn’t know when I started if I would need them, but I can finish every picture with no hints. Just zoom in and see the areas, in sections, that I missed, and it’s easy. That doesn’t happen often, but if you need the hints, it takes you to it and zooms it in for you. If you’re looking for a great coloring app, I suggest paint by number. You can color pictures fast or slow. Whatever you choose. As for this one, if it was faster to move through cells, had more pictures and actually had what was advertised, I would keep it, but once I color a few that I like, I will be deleting it.
