We Ski & Snowboard Tracker

I used to use the snoww app and this one looks even better. Snoww had no support and last spring they shutdown their servers, I needed to find a replacement and We Ski seems to fit the bill. I really like the ability to pause and also comment(so you can document who you skied with. Haven't tried it yet but it looks like your friend community can just look and find you. You don't have to be tracking with them to find them. Can't wait to try this and other features!

This app does it all- it has smaller hill data and was super accurate. I love how it gives all the data. I was able to export the GPX file from it and upload to Strava. The two work seamlessly together. It shows all the data- distance, speed, location, elevation, detailed weather info. The app makes it easy to connect with friends to see stats and loc on the hill. I was super surprised to see that it knew when I was going up lifts and when I was skiing down. Also, barely took up any battery as it was hanging out recording in the background. 15/10!!!

Trash now disappeared a couple years ago and a lot of us were using it for the leaderboard. It was pretty cool to have competitions with people on the other side of the world and another hemispheres. We ski as well thought out, works well and reasonably accurate. Looking forward to it becoming more widely used.
