A better timer, does it even exist? You could spend forever searching through an ocean of sub-par, unremarkable, and unreliable timer apps... or you could just get this one. I was looking for a manual-repeating interval timer that works, and after spending $20 on a physical timer, I then stumbled upon this gem of an app that actually works better. The visuals with the water rising (or optional draining) is down-right fun, without being overwhelming, or taking away from the necessity of a functioning tool. It is the cherry on top of a hot fudge sundae, while on break, still clocked in at work. Not only does the lifetime upgrade make this tool even more useful, I also think it's wise to not let this kind of attention to detail perish, so I had all the justification I needed to make a purchase. Although I was literally sold on the app already, there is one thing to be desired. I would love to see an option to allow 1 tap to reset the timer, rather than the 2 taps that it currently takes to use the timer in repetition. I also think that a tap counter would be a neat addition. A counter in which you fill up the water as you tap until reaching your target goal would work well with the toolset and style here. Or a target-less tally, where perhaps your taps just splash the water as it's keeping count. If you're reading this, just know that this a great timer, and an app worth purchasing! I am thrilled to have found it. Sincerely, Used2B Timer-less
I like this app to use with my issues w/ADHD. Have used Pomodoro technique for a long time and needed a new shiny thing to do the timers. A couple of options I have not been able to find in other apps: 1) When timer hits zero, if the whole screen to flash for some user selected time or even 5 or 10 seconds. This is purely for the more noticeable silent alarm. 2) Option to change to another font. 3) Lastly, suer created color combo. thanks. :)
I got this app to help my students keep track of time visually during independent work, but Iโve also found it super useful for meditation. I desperately want to use this app to keep track of my study sessions (in grad school now) - but the major thing missing is the split screen function for iPad! Please consider adding split view ability! Picture in Picture would be outstanding, so I can takes notes on my tablet while still having this app in peripheral view. Another option would be a MacOS version, or web-based. Pretty please. Edit: Thank you for adding split view feature! Truly a wonderful app.
