VinylPod - Music Widget

I think the app itself is pretty worthwhile especially as a free app. I think for something to move me to purchase would have to be something significant other than locking behind certain pay walls. I think there’s a lot of room for extra creativity for in-app purchases. I will say overall it is a decent app I really enjoy vinyl player is quite smooth. Though I kind of dislike that it's only available in the medium size rather than in a small or in a large et cetera which I think shouldn’t be paywalled but imagine customisable features such as being able to add stickers on your vinyl or decorate your player or different types of players that is what a lot of Music widgets nowadays lack. Funky shape and creativity of it all. I enjoyed the dynamic notch though it did become a little bit intrusive and I wish you could’ve hide it.

When paying for the small amount it really adds a nice slight vintage modern look if using on an iPad, makes my room feel more comfortable and would really recommend if you like seeing some vintage without having to spend too much money on a record and the actual vinyl, plus I found it mainly helpful since some relaxing music I like don’t have vinyl or cds so this lets me listen to them while still keeping some vintage look, it isn’t perfect but it does satisfy what I’ve been looking for digitally, and I do wish you could customize the grey background a bit more when you zoom in but so far I really enjoyed making the extra small payment.

I totally love it. It looks so cute on my Home Screen and it runs super smoothly unlike some other applications I’ve used. I was, however, messing with some of the settings and ended up clicking the “cover art as wallpaper” option. It did exactly that, but when I toggled it off, the image wouldn’t go away! I tried getting rid of it by switching to another wallpaper, but it wouldn’t show my original no matter what I did. I ended up having to delete the wallpaper from my files and manually redownload it from the website I had gotten it originally. It was all fixed within like 5 minutes, but it was still a bit confusing nonetheless lol. Other than that, I adore the shortcut. It’s currently running on my computer, and the little vinyl spinning is super cute.
