The current gps is constantly putting us on roads we’re not allowed to be on- trying to get to a unknown location (that’s sometimes is a 50/50 shot in being the correct address entered by a person at dispatch) Then to follow a car gps that leads you to underpasses/ bridges/ tunnels you are to big for is more then frustrating! And if your hauling in a location unfamiliar you have to try and find alternative routes to get around where a big truck gps wouldn’t have had you go in the first place!! I can’t tell you the times when I’ve called a customer to verify a address bc the entered address isn’t correct and 30/45 min in a completely different direction and the customer say i repeatedly told whom ever their salesperson may have been the correct address for dumping & dispatch just put in “call for location “ or billing address… which neither are helpful when customer isn’t answering and/ or location is wrong AGAIN!!!
Easy to use. I really like the details of the loads. Time punched in, time punched out to tell me how long I’ve been with the load. Snapshot of the ticket to go back to if I want. I really like as soon as I complete the load it gives me the $$$ amount of how much I made for that load and all loads at the end of the day.
I live in southeast pa where triaxle dump trucking is the cream of the crop. I haul for several big companies. Figured I would give the app a try and expand my business. Where I live there are dozens of quarries and tons of road work and site work going. I added trux now to my insurance and was approved on the app. It’s been several weeks now and not one available job has popped up on the app. It’s a dead end in my area with this app. I gave the app 3 stars becuase it has tons of potential. They just need more salesman to pitch the idea to more states and counties. The app has probabaly worked in a just a few small areas of the United States where they were able to get their salesman out too and have contractors sign up. Unfortunately, this will take time for them to expand and they will have to invest more money and time to get the ball rolling. These guys have the right idea. It could make them a lot of money as well as the truckers if they invest the time and money to get it going. This will take a few years. Like I said, I live in a dominant dump truck area and the ball isn’t rolling for this app here. Best of luck to you trux now. I have confidence that you will market your idea to wider spectrum
