Truck Simulator EVO: Drive USA

Overall the game is very realistic and entertaining, but I have a few issues, firstly, the ai traffic does not even care that i’m there, they just merge infront of me and I get fined for crashing. Second is the transmission shifts do not sound as realistic as in “Truck Simulator USA: Classic”, this isn’t really a huge issue but more realistic transmission shifts would make the game feel alot smoother. Third and final issue is my blinkers do not automatically click off when i complete a turn as they did in the previous game. Thats all my issues with the game but there are a few features that I would like to see in the future, like being able to have more than 1 builds of a specific truck, like my W990 is fully upgraded to 8x4, i would like to also have one with a day cab. I would also like a regular Kenworth W900 that i can purchase with in-game cash. That’s all my concerns, the game is really good as it is, thanks for reading and keep up the good work.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one actually deserves it. Truck Simulator EVO is not just a very good game, it’s a genuinely realistic simulator with a ton of detailed features. What really impressed me, on top of everything else, is that the game has almost no ads. That’s rare, especially for a free game. In fact, I even bought trucks with real money just to support the developers, because it feels like they actually care about creating something high-quality. You get a full experience with realistic driving, great mechanics, and a lot of depth without being constantly interrupted. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys simulation games. It’s already very good, but it would be even better if they added features like being able to exit the truck, more complex roads, and more challenging parking scenarios. Overall, an excellent simulator that’s definitely worth your time.

I’m only giving it a four star for a few reasons…before I stare my reasonings, I’d like to point out that this game is very new. I played Truck USA OG back in 2014, then truck USA Revolution came out, now here we are with EVO. Reasonings: 1- the CARS!!! How annoying is it they won’t go the speed limit!! I’m going 75 and it literally looks like the AI are going 45 (at max!!) same thing when the speed limit is slower, they do NOT go the speed limit…. 2- the manual feature, I really enjoyed the TAP shifting feature in Revolution. This “slide” up or down to shift is NOT it…. 3- BUGS!!!! I know the game is new so I’ll forgive the dev on that. Completely understandable. When I turned my lights on, the game freezes for like 5 seconds 4- WINDOW!!!! Inside the cab I don’t like that I can’t roll my window down to be able to enjoy hearing the motor inside the truck….if I can turn my wipers on and my hazards, I should be able to roll my window down. 5- the ENGINE!!! The bought black truck (for one is a copy of a real life truck a dude has, the with minor differences to make the dev not get sued) the LOPE sounds amazing. However it’s inconsistent. I’ve been driving trucks for almost 10 years and I’m sure when approaching high rpm’s the truck sound isn’t suppose to get quieter…. 6- the graphics look amazing (compared to revolution) by far!!! However it is still rough around the edges. I know the game is new but DEV if you made it down this far please smoothen the game out.
