Like the maps and ability to star faves on map+ adding text description for each. And they work offline, w your ‘location’ service/GPS to guide you. But don’t waste your time or space on the downloadable guide. At least not London. The text provided has NO SORT OR SEARCH, which makes it useless. Find ‘Shoreditch’ in the text...go ahead, I’ll wait. You can’t, at least not without scrolling hopefully through page after page of randomly-ordered stories and subjects. I gave up. The maps are great, though.
The internet connection throughout London was very spotty. This app allowed me to have access to the London map at all times, while showing my current location and guiding me to my next. It was also helpful for the tube map.
Excellent, not only because it can be downloaded and therefore needs no Wifi, but because it combines with GPS to show your location on the map. In addition zooming the map shows all the small streets and their names.
