Train Ride

I absolutely love this game! I love the different maps, trains, music, and atmosphere every time you progress. The art style, mechanics, and overall design of this game is amazing as well. I really love smooth gameplay, and this game definitely serves that very well. It’s so addicting! Once I start playing, it’s so hard to put it down because of how fun it is. I think the price for taking ads away could be a little cheaper. I did pay the $5 for no adds and a couple of gems, but I wish there was a cheaper option that didn’t come with gems, just the no ads. Although, for me, when a game peaks my interest this much, I decide that it’s worth the current price of no ads, since I’ll be planning on playing for a long time. Keep up the great work, and I’m so excited to see what new content is planned for the future!

I started this game about a week ago. I got through a few levels, then paid the $5 to end optional ads. A level or two later, when I finished the USA, I discovered that I can't progress further. The USA is completed, but Asia won't let me travel because it says previous levels are incomplete. (As far as I can tell Asia is the final level.) There's no support from the game itself. Even the support link here just goes to a company website, not to actual support. It's possible that they never actually even finished the game and there is no Asia even though the map shows it. So I gave 3 stars because I really enjoyed it enough to pay to remove ads, which I almost never do. But I took 2 stars off because I couldn't complete the game and there's no support that I could find. EDIT: I heard from the devs after posting this review. The USA is currently the highest level but they expect to release Asia very shortly. So I am raising my rating due to their responsiveness, although I am still leaving off 1 star because there's no in app support.

I have really enjoyed this game and seeing how they interpret the different cities/places/themes. I found it pretty straightforward as far as what you need to do in order to upgrade to the next map and it honestly feels rewarding to open new train stops and cities. The ads are bearable (especially considering most other games these days!) and they let you skip it pretty quickly so I don’t mind. The app does crash when you get a new map, but closing and reopening the app allows you to progress forward without any issues. Others have mentioned the grammar on the Europe and USA maps and it definitely irked me at first but it’s inconsequential to the goal🤷‍♀️. As much as I have loved this game, I’m really frustrated that I’ve completed the USA map and all of the requirements to unlock the next map, but it says I need to get to level 5 to unlock Asia, when I have reached level 5. If the next map is in progress of being created then I wish it would say “coming soon” or something like that, because as far as I can tell it’s a glitch or it’s unclear as to why I cannot move forward. All of my stops are upgraded past level 6 (the requirement) so I’ve fulfilled the requirements but I am unable to move forward. I look forward to seeing updates but I’m not sure why I can’t move forward unless it’s simply a communication issue as far as what the game has to offer for now.
