Trails of Cold Steel:NW

So it's about the main story battles that have 2 stages that have to be fought with 2 different teams. Unless there's something I'm missing, it seems like there's no way to edit any of the players on the 2nd team until you're actually on the 2nd stage, specially not being able to switch any of them out to put on the first team. This is specifically getting in my way now because I have been stuck on main story battle 41-40, which is a 2-stage one, and Alfin is my most powerful character currently, and I just recently got her 2 support members (Mueller and Olivert) strong enough for them all to get most of the support benefits when they battle together. But because I'd used Olivert on my 2nd team in a previous battle, he's now stuck there until I beat the first stage of this one, so I can't do the support thing with Alfin at all until then. So yeah, this not being able to edit the teams thing seems like it was intended as another layer of challenge, but in practice it seems more like an arbitrary impediment; it's preventing players from using certain already-existing strategies but not introducing any meaningful ones of its own. And yes, in the future I will use far weaker characters for all the 2nd stage battles, because do I know that's basically the one and only way to get around this issue, and I was admittedly just mindlessly using way too OP characters for those battles without thinking ahead. So I did go back and forth a bit on posting this because I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me being annoyed at being stuck on the level and at my own lack of foresight. (And I also know this probably won't get changed, but I'm in too deep with this game now so I'm not going anywhere regardless lol). But I do still ultimately think this is just a feature that adds little-to-nothing to the game strategically, and can prevent people from using strategies that take a ton of time and gameplay to develop - like support networks - purely because they used one of those characters in a previous and completely unrelated battle. Hello I am writing this review to tell the game devs that the reason I stopped playing is because I didn’t find it that interesting don’t get me wrong I love all of the time and effort you people put into this game but the way the characters and how the battles go that is not me I like the game where when you battle enemy’s you fight either you control the character to move where you want it to go like third person battle for example solo leveling I love their way of battle and Honkai star rail I also love the way they set up their battles so the reason I stopped playing wasn’t because I hated it is was because I didn’t find it that interesting I’m sorry but that game is just not my type but I love and support your way of making games and you can see how much effort you people put into this game and quick side note I know the game is still relatively new but sometimes when I am about to go into a battle the game closes its self and I have to get back in and start the battle over again I love the game but it’s just not right for me I hope you can understand and continue to make the game more entertaining and enjoyable for others thank you and good bye

I love the trails series! I played Akatsuki for a long time on JP App Store but was super sad when you guys removed it and replaced it with… this. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to play. But the combat is extremely boring, and I miss characters like Lif who were only in akatsuki. I’m glad you have Alfin in here as she is my favorite. Maybe add the reverie characters, I’d love to see Nadia, my other favorite. I played this on JP at first too, but quickly switched over as I noticed the English version came out. However, I have noticed that my favorite bug is gone! My characters used to glitch out when I played this on JP and they’d turn into pink silhouettes! Please bring back my all time favorite bug!!! Even better, sometimes characters would disappear completely! But I will say I adore the translation issues! Elliot being the Icy Maiden is SO fitting for him! And I adoreeeee the amigo gacha! What a nice name! Spanish doesn’t even directly go to English! Huh… you thought I was serious? No, not at all, not in this paragraph at least. I meant everything I said in the first one. But please, fix the bugs and translation issues. PS: akatsuki over NW any day… disappointing but I’ll still play
