I’ve only been subscribed for a month, but this app has become a favorite. I love the in-depth “fact or two” of the day and look forward to it! With that said, my concern is whether I will see new “facts” after I complete my first year, or will they just be repeated? My hope is that the app would present all new daily facts every year with no duplicates. Even better would be for the app to keep track of what was already presented to me so as never to offer up a duplicate. If duplicates are in the future, I will then need to cancel. I’m hoping to get some clarification from the devs about this. Also, what exactly happens when I thumb up 👍 or down 👎 a fact? Thanks!!!
Big fan of the app so far. Covering a wide range of topics from engineering disasters to cultural evolutions of different subjects. For the app maker: I’m having an issue with liking post. Whenever I click the “thumbs up” button at the bottom of the read, it always highlights and clicks the “thumbs down.” Could be just a visual bug and I’m actually likening it, but I’m not sure. Can you guys fix this. Fan of the writing and I don’t want to dislike by accident when I want to like.
The app is great, smooth and simple. Unfortunately I’ve been seeing lately a lot of birthdays were used as a historical fact. Mark twain and versace are the recent and I ponder, What is historical about their birth? Nothing. What they did in their life is historical! Something historical that occurred today could have replaced mark twian or versace being born. And their success could have been put on the days they started their business or wrote his first big book. Unless the birth is the historical fact like the first quadruplets born. There is so much history to be used that a simple birth of someone who became well known, famous or popular through an action or dedication years and years later shouldn’t be used.
