The Ssum : Love from Today

I downloaded this once a couple years ago and I was disappointed, I thought the animation, storyline and characters personality was extremely lacking, I had played Mystical Messenger, which is another game from the same people which I quite enjoyed, and they have just recently sent out a message saying June a characters from the SSUM: love of today has hidden ties to a character in Mystical Messenger so I decided to re-download it and try to figure out who it might be although I’m not sure if SSUM has gotten any better I sincerely hope it has but I’ll let you know once I start playing again ••• (edit) so I had been playing the game for a couple days now and the animation and storyline I still feel is lacking and I haven’t seen any sort of hidden ties to Mystical Messenger besides a photo that they send and him saying he has never heard of the game he says a few things here and there that sound similar to what other characters in Mysticl Messenger usually say, but overall in SSUM Mysticl Messenger is viewed as a game so the characters are not real people, so I’m not sure how he’s supposed to have hidden ties to them it’s not what I originally thought it was supposed to be at all and his character is rather annoying with being a total mamas boy as he doesn’t want to stand up to her at all as she’s overly protective, but this is totally my opinion you might feel differently. I don’t know if I will continue to play this game as it’s not really my type but I do like the different planets that you can try to find, and seeing different peoples comments in the game.

I’m going to be real and very honest it’s a good game it’s nothing I thought it would be after being mysme player of 3+ years it’s fun at the start but he leaves for 10 minutes a lot sometimes even 20 Ik he’s also supposed to be more like a real person but the chats take a rlly long time bc of it and it has you set a schedule that it does in fact not follow half the time it gives no instructions on how to give batteries I stopped play after 4 days bc it got rlly boring love Teo’s character but the amount of typos make it hard to tell what he’s saying the phone calls are messed up like I’ll pay to call him and it doesn’t work at all so I’m left with 0 batteries bc the game messed up I’m just gonna go back to mysme maybe I’ll try this game again when it’s fixed also the Time Machine is garbage and it’s actually impossible to use the Time Machine and the schedule changer without using actual money I feel like it’s definitely very greedy for money if you think I want to play a game where I have to rely on real money I’m not it really grinds my gears how hard it is to get planets and level them up specially bc it’s the only way to get batteries in those four days I found myself frustrated and bored he takes too long to respond and it’s a very time consuming game although it seems like it isn’t IT IS. After all I’ve just said you can see why I’ve not given it a 5 star review please trust my better judgment and don’t waste your time just go play mysme🤷‍♀️ #thelesson✌️

I’ve been a big fan of MysticMessenger and am still playing it as of now. I understand the game just came out which is why I’m not trying to rushing them just pointing out some issues. One of my biggest issues is with the censorship on posts, I could write something that has no bad words or “inappropriate content” and it is somehow flagged as “inappropriate” and it is irritating at how much I have to retype also how hard it is to edit and go back and change words while typing. Another issue is translation issue it’s very hard to understand somethings in the chat with Teo because they are not properly translated. Also I get the paid features but what really gets me is the photos where it says it didn’t “upload correctly” or something like that so I have to pay for a prescription or give 5 batteries like that’s beyond just wanting people to pay for a prescription it’s down right annoying and makes me want to delete the app don’t say the photo wasn’t “uploaded correctly” when you just want my money. It’s also very hard to do all chats since they’re so sporadic and every when I get a notification for chat I get a whole bunch of them like shame even when I’m in the chat and don’t need the notifications. Like I’ve very much been debating whether or not to delete the game and maybe play it from a year from now because it’s very difficult. But I do enjoy the game regardless of not fully understanding what planets and moon bunnies have to do with chatting with Teo. I also feel like if I missed an important chat like the one where Teo asks to be your boyfriend he should ask again when I go back to the chat because apparently i agreed without being on the chat
