The Healing - Horror Story

Loved this. I have just completed the game yesterday and am now restarting. I’ve played this and orphans for about 2-3 years on and off( when school year starts I try not to play lots of games or watch tv or anything to focus more that’s why it’s taken me so long) there are lots of twists. Like LOTS of them. I laughed and I cried a bit while playing. Definitely an emotional roller coaster. The hacks are hard to do at first once you get more into chapter one. But after doing it for a while they become easier kinda. Tho I do wish that after you played through the first time you didn’t have to do them again or maybe just have like one level after the first full play through. Thats would be great. Haven’t finished Orphans quite playing for so long that I forgot what had happened so I just restarted the game.

I’m in love with the colourful cast of characters, the ideas, plots, etc. The killers, the twists, the calls, the buildings and environments- it’s truly a remarkable experience. I’m a little downed that Oni didn’t get a lot screen-time, but maybe I’ll be able to see more of him in a future game..? (I’ve got butterflies in my stomach 😳) Other than that, I don’t like the hacking segments very much. I do like them to a degree because they lengthen the game, it makes the game well-paced, the hacking has significant purpose in the game, and the credits have purpose (though, I would like it if they were customary (?) credits to decorate the backgrounds of the gameplay like in Duskwood). However, you have to replay the hacking sequences if you want to play The Healing again (if you restart the game to play again, you have to do all the hacking segments again) which is upsetting. I also like the fact that there isn’t a lot of romance in this game compared to the others (I’ve only ever played The Sign but still). Other than the hacking segments, I have absolutely no complaints. I just recently played through the entire game for the second time, and I’m still in love.

i love this game i had just played the orphanage and since they haven’t finished it i decided to check out another one of their games. it went great for the majority of the game, there were a couple glitches where i had to restart the game but things would go smoothly after that. I had gotten very close to the ending of the game when all the sudden there was a strange glitch. the game wont progress at all, no matter how much i restart the app. i contacted them through a link in the app over a week ago and i havent gotten any response. i was pretty stoked to play the ending since i would play this game for hours on end. i even tried another game of theirs and very early on experienced more glitches which ended in the game not working at all either. i spent money on that one since i enjoyed their games so much but when i contacted them about it, which was also around a week ago, they never got back to me. i hope these issues can be fixed because i love the games.
