This product is really special. It puts you in the biblical stories in a really unique way and I really respect the team behind this because it couldn’t have been a small task.
The AudioBible Super Production app is the number 1 most authentic and best audio Bible of all time in my opinion. That is where it’s at when it comes to Audio Bibles in every entertainment way that I can think of. It’s the most intense Cinematic audio Bible experience to have you on the edge of your seat, sometimes feeling relaxed and at peace because of the cinematic biblical adventure and sometimes feeling more uncomfortable and paranoid because of the Cinematic intense scenarios. It really brings to life the feeling of actually hearing a recording of what it would sound like if the Biblical events are recorded on a tape. Be warned it’s an intense and authentic audio Bible. It is also a much longer compilation of Ancient literature books written during those past biblical times’, that are included with the 66 books of the Bible catalogue. Making it a Bibliotheca of the largest Catalogue of an Audio Bible.
The cast reading the Bible does a great job. The creative use of stereo and background effects heightens the immersion into the drama. My biggest complaint is that, while there is an option to adjust the speed of the audio, it reverts to 1x at each new chapter. Also, there are cards on the home screen of the app that tell you what you played in your last session. These are frequently populated with “unknown error” which makes me need to actually remember where I was last time and manually navigate to the next chapter. Other than these shortcomings, the app is well envisioned and laid out. I especially appreciate that the books and chapters can be downloaded for offline play. One improvement would be to allow for one touch to download the whole Bible.
