First time at TGI for my birthday, halloween night. The food was lovely, however the service was very poor. The waitress was so miserable, hardly said a word, mumbled. The service was very slow, although the restaurant was quiet and plenty of staff! At one point a couple came in and sat near us, they were given menus and then ignored, the staff were huddled together chatting, this later asked if her order could be taken and was told someone would be with her shortly, they carried on chatting and eventually this couple left, it was disgraceful, the staff just didn’t care, another couple had to ask for their desserts as they were taking so long! We were there for 2 hours and no member of staff asked if we needed any more drinks, was our food ok etc, we were just ignored! Shame as this was my birthday treat and the food was great but the staff need a lot of training and a kick up the backside!

Lee was really helpful, my boys really enjoyed it and he made us laugh. He was very patient with us. The food was amazing, will definitely come back again. It’s expensive, but definitely worth the money. My 10 year old saw the Avengers poster on the wall and asked if he could buy it lol. Max was amazing too with the birthday song. Ellie was lovely, very helpful and helped me put the banners up and helped with my birthday cake. Emaleigh was amazing and really bubbly and friendly. Carli was really friendly too and helped me when Lee had to go. The chef Lee was really nice too. Haha, Tom’s glasses broke, but he was lovely and helped keep on top of the bar.

Where do I start, we arrived at the restaurant to be told our booking we made was not available and told to join the queue, so we did got a table 35 minutes later, everything we wanted to order was not available and as the waitress walked away she was slating my family to the other waitresses so I said is there a problem and just got a dirty look, food arrived and all the waiters and waitresses walking passed our table was giving us dirty looks, then a waitress at the table next to us was changing her shoes in the restaurant while taking someone order, we ordered 2 desserts for my children, which one of them has autism, this waitress stomped over flung two bowls on the table at my kids and I said excuse me what’s this that’s not is what is on yours menu I’m not paying seven pounds for a bowl with cream and a wafer then another waitress stomped over and said we don’t have tall glasses left , I said I’m not paying for this , and the first waitress got in my face and said that’s your problem, that’s when i said sorry im not having this get me your manager, manager came over and said im so sorry this is not exceptable as a dessert, I said to the manager I have kept my mouth shut all evening with this bad behaviour but after the comment from the waitress in front of my kids that’s not exceptable the another waitress comes over with the dessert in the proper tall glass which they did have, I said to the manager im sorry I would like her name please which he gave me, I said can you do our receipt please and take these desserts of please, which he did and was very apologetic about the service and as I got up to leave with my autistic son a waiter from behind the bar walks passed and says have a good night and tries to shoulder bump me while I have my kid with me, I have the names and will be taking this further.
