Tenda Beli

I bought two of these smart plugs based on price and didn’t consult reviews until it was too late. Every negative thing that’s already been said is true: use UNfriendly, no available tech support, and they just plain do not function. I’m reasonably tech savvy, but these will have to be returned. I’ve left one star because that’s required to post a review. Buyer beware.

It doesn’t connect. I’m not incompetent, I can program a bit . This just didn’t work sadly

Astonishingly user unfriendly. Could not get it to connect to the Alexa app because Tenda wouldn’t recognize my login credentials which I had JUST set up. I finally gave in and I figured I would just reset my password so that I could get this going. However… I could find no mechanism to reset the password. I know I had my email correct because they had sent me a confirmation link. When I clicked on a link in the Tenda app for help, I was sent to the 404 page and their website. Only at one point in the help section did I find the comment that I should try going back and signing up for the app again. Mmm… I don’t think so. Sent the devices back because they clearly don’t work as advertised. If the app doesn’t work, then the device doesn’t work.
