tastyfx: Forex Trading Broker

Most of the "Recent" reviews seem to revolve around not getting timely access to funds that have been deposited. Having been through several different domestically regulated FX brokers over the last year [USA] it sounds to me like most of these issues point to the inexperience and subsequent lack of understanding of the neurotic regulations imposed by the Frank-Dodd act, on FX brokers in the USA. If you take the time to really understand that, simply getting your money on account does not mean you're all set for regular withdrawals, then I'm thinking you won't be any more frustrated with IG than with any other USA FX broker - they're all exactly the same, just FYI. Now on to a quick critique of the IG app: 1) No biometric login!!!??? (What century are we in?) 2) No biometric login!!!??? 3) No biometric login!!!??? When this real-world issue is resolved, then I have some actual suggestions regarding the fairly poor workflow the app provides, especially when closing a position and getting quick and easy access, IN ONE PLACE, to all the data I need, in order to log the info in my spread sheet. In the meantime, let's please get serious about the front end of this app. Thank you.

I had the worst experience dealing with IG. The service of IG is absolutely horrible. I spent the last two weeks on the phone with you guys, only to be constantly told “My sales rep/account opener will call you back” never did I receive a call back. My documents have been uploaded and have said approved for roughly two months now. I have been asked the same security questions to verify my identity three times now. Downright horrible and terrible “service” that you guys claim to provide. I have never been tossed through so many loops to open an account with someone in my life. I have taken my business elsewhere and was setup, account funded, and trading the same day, with no issues or loops to be constantly jumping through. I advise no one to use IG, find someone else. If I could rate them negative stars I would do so. I am forced to give them 1 star, which they are not deserving of.

The IG trading platform offers a lot of information, updates in real time, and responds to your commands quickly. My only complaint is that the card payment is one-way. If, for example, you deposit $1000 via debit card, you can only withdraw $1000 back to that card, no matter how much you earn through trades. If you want to cash out money that you’ve earned, they want scans of your ID and bank information. I’ve more than doubled my original deposit and I can’t touch my earnings until I email some personal information.
