My son is dyslexic and he has been using this app as part of his tutoring. I have noticed how easy it is for him to manipulate and how using this app helps solidify the phonics skill he has been working on. I also teach kindergarten and our reading curriculum is heavy on basic phonics skills. I have been using blocks with letters on them to provide a multi sensory experience for my struggling readers. I am so excited for them to get to use this app next year. I could use it for so many things. For example, onset and rime, word families, blending, segmenting, and vowel substitution. My students love to make up silly nonsense words and then read them phonetically. This app will work great for that too. Having it on an iPad will not only be exciting for these young kids but it will also be easy to clean and no more losing blocks! This is a wonderful app for all learners in school or at home if distance learning continues next year.

Stumbled across this app today. If you are teaching ANY structured literacy program this reasonably priced app will make lessons Multisensory and complete. This is appropriate for my beginning learners and has everything I need for advanced learners. Highly recommend.

My oh my. I'm trained in a few OG programs and this app allows me to use it across all of them. My kids LOVE, practicing their spelling words now for homework. I love how it is versatile enough to not only have manipulative but they can also write directly on the app for more practice. Way to go TacTilesApp!
