Super Idle Cats - Farm Tycoon

The idle gameplay is fine. It is reminiscent of Egg Inc. You should not download this game because the monetization implementation is absolutely abyssmal and frustrating, and the game runs terribly, lots of stutter and FPS issues. The game will serve you ads like most clicker/idle games to reward you when you click special objects or want to double your away earnings, etc etc. Beyond the ads themselves being insane resource hogs (some taxing the phone’s hardware more than the game itself) and some being deceptive (invisible X’s to close and return to game), they will often freeze or not allow you to return to the game, prompting you to restart the app and not awarding you for your time. 30 seconds may not be a huge waste of time, but when you are subjected to bugs like this multiple times per 10-15 minute session, it grates on you. 10-15 minutes is about as long as you can keep the app open for before the rewards stop functioning at all (ads won’t play even when you choose to play them to reward you) or ads will stop rewarding you even after watching them. tl;dr: do not play this game, it is a frustrating, buggy mess of an Egg Inc clone that functions more as a hand warmer than a game with the incredible temps it will bring your phone to.

If you are looking for a classic tycoon game, then this is what you are looking for. I have been playing for a week now and have not experienced any lag or crashes. It’s EXTREMELY stable and no glitches. And please stop saying that this is is copy and pasted of eggs inc. and I get you and see what you mean, but seriously guys? How many unique tycoon games can we get? We have “Adventure Capitalist” and “Cookie Clicker” for a start and may not look the same. But they both have the SAME basic tycoon mechanics... tap, upgrade, go be afk, repeat... So in all seriousness...yes! this may LOOK like a copy and paste...what else can you take away from this before it’s nothing even CLOSE to a tycoon...

After playing this for a while, I’ve yet to find anything that really separates this game from other idle games. Pros: -Graphics are nice, has a fun cartoon feel to it. -Tutorial was well thought out, it just takes a few minutes but explains most every function of the game in a way that makes sense. -As of yet, doesn’t seem too pushy with micro transaction pop-ups. Cons: -Progress is slow, unless you either pay money or watch videos... in many cases, clicking on a golden bird flying by gives you an option to get nearly 1000x your income by watching one video, which makes it feel like watching ads is the only way to make progress. -Gets stale fairly quickly, lacking features that define it in any way that’s different from other idle games. Click some, wait for progress, click on birds that fly by, do research when you have the money for it. Rinse and repeat forever. Prestige adds some replayability, but not enough to keep me playing. Overall, a decent distraction, but won’t keep you busy for long.
