Sunrise & Sunset Times

Now it says “Error receiving data”… Sunrise and sunset data is no longer available. Has the world stopped rotating around the sun and stopped rotating?

This is a nice little app. Unlike many similar apps it reports event times with second (rather than minute) resolution. The simple, but comprehensive, weather page is “Powered by Dark Sky”.

When it works, this is a very useful way to keep track of seasonal solar progress. Trouble is, the latest update appears only to support iOS devices with cellular capabilities regardless of edition of the OS. As a result, the update only loads on my Model 5 iPhone. My iPod and my iPad, both without cellular, cannot update this app, and should the old version fail, I won’t be able to load the new version. Pardon me for saying so, but this update makes no sense!
