Love this app so much, was a little confusing at first but I reached out to the developer and even though my message got sent to their spam they still found it and were super nice and informative and helped me fix the notification issue I was having. Can’t say enough good things about it, I have widgets on both my iPad and iPhone home and lock screens and on my watch face as well. Literally no issues within the app itself ever and the amount of customization for the widgets is just crazy. Thank you guys so much for making this, it’s been extremely helpful not only for planning my day on the spot but planning for trips/events months in advance! My phone updated by itself recently and offloaded the app and when I tried to redownload it wasn’t in the appstore. I was sooo scared that the app got pulled and also confused as to why, but I am happy to see that it’s back and was only gone for updates!
In my quest (I’m a librarian) for an app that would display daily and monthly solar and lunar phases, I did a little research and found this one was very well-rated over and over for its breadth of data, its friendly interface, and its features. Since this app kept floating to the top, I downloaded it and I have been a Basic user for a few months. I just love it, and I find myself using it often. It is deceptively simple, due to its clean design, but packed with information, which I enjoy browsing. Some practical uses: • I like to know when the full moon is coming up for viewing (and sometimes to confirm a string of bizarre behavior, although that seems to have ramped up to “daily” in 2022). • When we’re working in the yard, it’s great to see how much daylight we have left. • When we’re traveling and want to view a sunrise or a sunset, we can see the time for that, no matter where we are in the world. • I have a daily alert set for dusk, to remind me to bring in our suet and birdfeeders, before they are accosted by marauding raccoons from the woods. • The app is also a terrific learning tool, both for us, ourselves, and for us to use as we help introduce our 5-year-old granddaughter to these natural, ancient rhythms and phases. Very pleased - a great app. I plan on upgrading for more personal tinkering and preferences. Highly recommend!
My job requires me to know when civil twilight is every day, and this app handily tells me that. I first paid for it because I could stick it on my watch and know at a glance everything I needed to know. So I was really bummed when the developer dropped support for the watch. I could still use the main app of course, but the nerd in me really loved just looking at my wrist. I was graciously offered my money back if I wanted, but I chose not to, because I wanted to encourage the developer to keep working on this beautiful app and, as a software engineer, I know how these things go. And now I am SO HAPPY to see that not only is the watch app back, but back with a vengeance! The configurability of the widgets and complications is just stunning. The only downside is that now I’m going to be fiddling with this for weeks in order to find what arrangements are “just right” for me. Thanks so much for standing by your product and its continued improvement.
