I was a customer of Ssense for many years and as of last January (a year ago), I made the tough decision of no longer ordering from them and had them delete my account altogether. Why? They were not shipping my orders and their customer service was non-existent. Obviously Iโm not the only one dealing with providing funds for orders in exchange of goods. If you read their social media comments, you shall come across many similar stories of no shipping and people waiting on their orders or if ever shipped - issues arise with wrong items sent. Sure, their products and website are on par but if delaying or not shipping orders along with no customer service help, those are major issues that I cannot overlook. On the bright side - there are a plethora of other sites that are trustworthy and will ship your items on time and provide help when needed. All I can say is buy at your own risk. The aggravation and frustration with my final orders with them were not worth it at all and very anxiety-inducing. P.S. Oh, donโt listen to their responses on contacting their customer care - no one answers! So what good does it make? They spend more time on responding here for their app reviews than they do with taking care of getting back to their customers on their late and/or canceled orders.
I have been using ssense for a few years now and from end of last year I have been seeing a lot of people complaining about it for delayed shipping and problem with returns. Initially I was pretty lucky all 3 of my orders during the holiday are arrive within a month. However it was totally a nightmare when I started the return. It take forever to get a return label from them. I called them and did many online chat and email after they suspended the call center and I did not get the problem solved in 3 months. After I eventually manage to ship the item back to them they start to reject my return using multiple different excuses. And eventually they are saying the items is damaged and want to reject the return. While they sending the picture, it clearly shows the tag is attached to the product, all the original wrap around of the handbag is there untouched. I even never moved it out of its original box as I initiated return before the item even arrived. The customer service is terrible and there is no respect to their VIP customers. I will never buy from ssense again and donโt let the promotion fool you!!
Itโs really a nice app that follows the same layout and theme from their actual website. Always wondered when SSENSE would have their own mobile app instead of always having to search through the internet. But one critique that I have for the app is itโs UI. Having 3 products in each row minimizes the products to a smaller size which may cause shoppers to overlook some of the items. I feel as though having 2 products showcased in each row would further accentuate the details within the products and appeal to the shoppers eye even more. But other than that great app!
